An emerging global brand and manufacturer with products spanning multiple consumer goods industries was looking to accelerate its expansion into the U.S. market. Despite having a novel consumer product, the company faced challenges in defining its go-to-market strategy, optimizing marketing investment, and securing retail partnerships. To overcome these hurdles, the company engaged Clarkston Consulting to build a structured, data-driven approach for a go-to-market strategy to get the company back on scalable growth. 

Through a collaborative effort, Clarkston and the client developed a strategic activation roadmap, prioritizing nearly 50 actionable recommendations across product positioning, pricing, distribution, and promotional strategies. A key focus was developing two high-impact omnichannel tactics: a digital marketing strategy to strengthen direct-to-consumer (DTC) efforts and an experiential marketing plan to drive in-store activations and foster retailer relationships. 

To ensure seamless execution, Clarkston outlined a 12-week roadmap that guided the company through critical milestones: defining target consumer segments, refining channel strategies, developing compelling marketing assets, and implementing a structured sales approach. Additionally, marketing framework was introduced to maximize engagement and conversions across social media and paid search. 

Clarkston’s work provided the client with a clear, actionable roadmap to successfully penetrate the U.S. market. The go-to-market strategy empowered the client’s team to execute with confidence, optimizing investments across digital and in-store channels.
