Clarkston’s retail supply chain experts led the full implementation of Korber WMS , providing a modern, scalable solution. This included scoping, design, development, testing, and deployment. The team managed the development and implementation of 20 interfaces between the WMS, the brand’s ERP, and its transportation management system, while also constructing a new data transaction architecture. Middleware integrations were automated to connect Korber with host services, and label standards were aligned across multiple brands.
The project prioritized support for multi-brand operations and improved distribution visibility, particularly for two major sub-brands. Rigorous system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) were completed with warehouse staff to ensure a smooth rollout and adoption of the upgraded platform.
The benefits were substantial. The unified WMS improved data processing speeds, enhanced inventory tracking, and reduced operational redundancies. It enabled the client to onboard new brands more efficiently and simplified management across multiple brand codes. By leveraging pool distribution and the PCS StoreTrac solution, the company also gained better transportation visibility and realized logistics cost savings.
This successful WMS upgrade significantly improved operational efficiency and visibility across the distribution center. The new system provides a strong foundation for continued digital supply chain transformation and supports the client’s long-term strategy of scalable, multi-brand growth.
