Clarkston, along with 20,000 others in the SAP community, descended on Orlando, Florida last week for SAP’s SAPPHIRE Now + ASUG Annual Conference. The conference featured keynote addresses from SAP’s Co-CEOs, Bill McDermott and Jim Hagemann Snabe, highlighting and reinforcing SAP’s three current focus areas:
– Big data utilizing SAP’s HANA
– SAP Cloud solutions and the business network including SuccessFactors and Ariba
– User-enhanced experiences using SAP’s Mobility solutions
In alignment with these priorities, Clarkston was excited to announce our new Mobile Sales Optimization Solution using SAP HANA. This solution allows field sales reps and executives to act quickly by having real time sales summary data at their fingertips, literally. Clarkston also presented in two sessions on the topic of HANA alongside one of our clients, The Charmer Sunbelt Group.
With SuccessFactors also a key focus area for SAP, Clarkston provided attendees with a great piece of thought leadership on Keeping the Success in SuccessFactors Implementations. Clarkston also spoke on another HCM topic, EhP5 Performance Management and Enterprise Compensation Aligns HR Services with Business Strategy, with another long-term client, B&W.
Overall the conference provided the opportunity to learn how SAP is continuing to provide innovative solutions to ever-changing business requirements through real-time data, cloud and mobility. Clarkston enjoyed engaging discussions with many consumer products and life sciences companies on how SAP is and will continue to support the business requirements of their industries and individual organizations.
