Clarkston was engaged to help a $1B biopharmaceutical company evaluate current ways of working for delivering content to the field and define their future state content management strategy. The client’s content management process was highly manual, with content pieces being managed in multiple locations with various methods of delivery to the field. In addition, their current processes – coupled with technical limitations – limited the client’s ability to capture utilization data for digital pieces.

Clarkston’s commercialization experts led the current state assessment to capture key insights and pain points in the as-is state. Next, the team defined a content management strategy with a supporting framework and key pillars that will continue to bolster the strategy moving forward. Lastly, Clarkston developed a business needs scorecard that outlines critical process and technical requirements for the client to leverage during the vendor selection process as they look for a new tool to house and deliver all content to field teams.
