Clarkston Listed as Babson’s Partner in Management Consulting Field Experience Program

Clarkston Consulting was referenced in a press release by Babson College.  An excerpt from the press release is below:

Feb. 15, 2019

Ninety-nine percent of Babson College’s most recent undergraduate alumni are employed or continuing their education, according to statistics from the Class of 2018 six months after graduation.

“From a student’s first days to final days at Babson, our Center for Career Development (CCD) provides an immersive experience for discovering one’s passions and then positioning our students for success in the pursuit of them. They achieve this through personal and powerful partnerships with our faculty, industry thought leaders, and our employers,” said Ian Lapp, dean of Babson’s Undergraduate School. “It is fitting that we release our extraordinary career outcomes in the heart of admissions season. It demonstrates Babson’s unique ability to recognize potential and through a transformational learning experience create talented graduates that are in demand from all sectors.”

Among CCD’s extensive career readiness initiatives are immersive, experiential learning opportunities. Eighty-nine percent of the Class of 2018 completed an internship while at Babson, even though it’s not an academic requirement. The Management Consulting Field Experience (MCFE) program, which doubled in size last year, offers students opportunities to gain practical industry experience while working with professionals in the business community. Past MCFE company partners have included Puma, Boston Red Sox, Staples, Talbots, and Clarkston Consulting. Externships allow first-year students and sophomores to shadow professionals in action and learn more about a particular industry or function. Through company treks, students visit industry partners in Greater Boston and New York City to see and learn about various industries, company cultures, and connect with alumni.
