Clarkston Consulting Now Accepting Applications for 2016 Clarkston Scholars Program
DURHAM, NC and WAYNE, PA | October 1, 2015 – Clarkston Consulting, a leading management and technology consulting firm, has announced the call for applications for the 2016 Clarkston Scholars program.
Presented in conjunction with Pennsylvania Bio, the scholarship program provides one sophomore attending a four-year undergraduate program in Pennsylvania, majoring in a life sciences related field of study, a $10,000 scholarship awarded over a two-year period. In addition, the selected Clarkston Scholar will receive exposure to the life sciences industry through mentoring with Clarkston Consulting and participation in Pennsylvania Bio events over the course of the scholarship period.
A Clarkston Scholar is a highly-driven student who excels in the classroom, has a focused interest and passion for the life sciences industry, and intends to enter the industry upon graduation.

Since the Clarkston Scholars Program began in 2011, four students have been awarded the scholarship: Alexander Brown, Lehigh University Bioengineering Program, class of 2014; Tess Michaels, University of Pennsylvania Life Sciences & Management Dual Degree Program, class of 2015; Luke Chen, University of Pennsylvania Chemistry Program, class of 2016; and Edward Hilton, Duquesne University Biochemistry Program, class of 2017.
Edward Hilton was selected as the 2015 Clarkston Scholar. “I am extremely grateful for this honor. The scholarship funds will allow me to focus on my professional development and gain further insight into this industry,” said Hilton, who was awarded the $10,000 scholarship at the 2015 Pennsylvania Bio Annual Dinner and Awards Celebration.
