Clarkston Consulting recently partnered with a client on a Veeva implementation project. The client is currently advancing a pipeline of precision medicines for the treatment of solid tumors and blood cancers and was looking to advance their documentation and quality capabilities. They engaged Clarkston to replace their legacy system and kickstart their Veeva QualitySuite journey, starting with the implementation of QualityDocs and Vault Training.

The primary objective of this project was to implement Veeva QualityDocs and Vault Training in a timely manner, as the legacy system was being retired in the middle of the implementation. The Clarkston team worked efficiently to identify in-scope document types and associated document lifecycle requirements, delivered validation documentation and testing oversight for these requirements, and configured the system according to these requirements. In addition, the Clarkston team lead end-user training of the new system and helped to successfully migrate existing documents from the legacy system to the new Veeva QualityDocs system.

As a result of these efforts, over 900 legacy documents and attachments were migrated to Veeva QualityDocs. 11 comprehensive test scripts were successfully executed to test business requirements and configuration and over 60 end users were trained on the new system functionality. The system went live on time and successfully, providing a single platform for document management and training across the enterprise that can scale as business grows and as the client continues their quality journey in Veeva.
