IDEAs Seminar: Inclusive Leadership Training

As leaders, you are on the front line when it comes to interacting with your team. Increase Self-Awareness and Self-Management to Overcome Barriers to Inclusion

Aligning the intentions and impact of an inclusive leader starts first with increasing awareness of your unconscious biases and behavior. We will focus on how to better mitigate our biases and manage our actions.

Create a Culture of DE+I Ownership

Inclusion is a central leadership competency and should not be siloed solely to DE+I initiatives. We discuss the core components to inclusive leadership, tailored to your organization.

Frame Positive Change and Leverage the Impact of Inclusion​

We dive into what positive change could look like at your organization and how inclusive leadership can bridge gaps that may exist, highlighting the differences between doing nothing, doing the wrong thing, and doing the right thing at the right time.

  1. We think about the difference between knowledge and skills. We focus on less telling, more doing, with an emphasis on practical application of learned knowledge and skills.​
  2. We treat the learners as consumers on a journey, that starts from the will/need to learn a new skill to the application and mastery of the skill.
  3. We curate the experience and inject the right stimulus at the right time to ensure lessons are reinforced and skills applied.​ This allows learners to come to the “aha” moments and draw their own conclusions.
