David Kennedy
David Kennedy is a senior consultant at Clarkston Consulting with more than 30 years of experience in life sciences, including over 18 years specializing in Laboratory Informatics. He has supported clients across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and research and development sectors, delivering expertise in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) implementation, configuration, and technical support. David is a certified LabWare LIMS Consultant.
A passionate mentor and coach, David is dedicated to developing Clarkston’s Laboratory Informatics practitioners and fostering professional growth within the organization. He is an active member of Clarkston’s LIMS Forum, where he helps promote innovative thinking, knowledge sharing, and best practices in LIMS and life sciences technologies.
Known for his collaborative approach and deep technical expertise, David enjoys sharing his extensive LIMS knowledge with both experienced professionals and consultants new to the field. His diverse academic background includes a Ph.D. in Nutritional Biochemistry earned in Japan, following several years of work at a world-class medical research institute in Ghana. He also holds a Master of Science in Cheminformatics with a specialization in Laboratory Informatics from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis.
