Clarkston Consulting Announces Call for Scholarship Applications

Clarkston Consulting Now Accepting Applications for 2014 Clarkston Scholars Program

DURHAM, NC and WAYNE, PA  |  September 24, 2013 – Clarkston Consulting, a leading management and technology consulting firm, has announced the call for applications for the 2014 Clarkston Scholars program.

Presented in conjunction with Pennsylvania Bio, the scholarship program provides one sophomore attending a four-year undergraduate program in Pennsylvania, majoring in a Life Sciences related field of study, a $10,000 scholarship awarded over a two-year period. In addition, the selected Clarkston Scholar will receive exposure to the Life Sciences industry through mentoring with Clarkston Consulting and participation in Pennsylvania Bio events over the course of the scholarship period.

“We are proud to continue our support of the Clarkston Scholars program,” said Christopher Molineaux, President and CEO, Pennsylvania Bio. “This scholarship is a meaningful way to encourage and develop future leaders in the life sciences industry.”

Clarkston Consulting established the annual Clarkston Scholars Program in 2011. A Clarkston Scholar is a highly-driven student who excels in the classroom, has a focused interest and passion for the Life Sciences industry, and intends to enter the Life Sciences industry upon graduation.

“We were extremely impressed with the caliber and passion of last year’s Clarkston Scholar applicants,” said Clarkston Consulting Partner and Life Sciences Industry Leader Janel Firestein. “We look forward to reviewing the next round of applications and continuing to work with the next generation of leaders in the Life Sciences industry.”

In March 2013, Tess Michaels, a University of Pennsylvania student, was selected as the 2013 Clarkston Scholar. Michaels was awarded the $10,000 scholarship at the 2013 Pennsylvania Bio Annual Dinner and Awards Celebration.
