Raleigh Software Firm Enlight raises $1.4 Million

Raleigh software firm Enlight just snagged $1.4 million in seed funding, according to company statements. The raise – from Clarkston Consulting and Farient Advisors – will go toward accelerating product development, expanding market research and enhancing sales efforts.
Enlight provides board intelligence management software and, according to its co-founder, Michelle Tartalio, the need is growing.
“Because of the pressure on directors to be constantly informed about the changing marketplace, board members who rely on traditional means to gather information are feeling more vulnerable than ever,” she says. “New domain areas, such as cyber security, activist challenges and rapidly disruptive forces are changing the way directors need to access independent market information.”
Enlight was founded in 2010.
